this is a personal invitiation for you!
we will have an homage celebration
in memory of LARRY NORMAN, who passed away on Feb.24th
after a long battle with heart related problems.
there is hardly anybody whose music has deeply moved
and inspired my life.
i..m thinking of a really nice, relaxing party with Larry-friends
from germany, switzerland, the netherlands and from wherever you are!
we should be together, eat together, have a good glass of wine,
dance to Larry..s music, listen to his music and maybe sing his songs.
the ” Kulturelle Mitte” is a perfect location
to combine celebration and concert.
there will be a stage, where everyone is welcome to share
his solidarity to Larry Norman.
if you would like to play 1-2 songs of Larry,
if you would like to read a poem or if you just
want to say what Larry means to you,
if you have filmfootage from his concerts,
song or interview raritys and so on..
please let me know soon!
let me also know if you need
a sleeping place for the night.
it won..t cost you anything,
because we have some nice families who
would love to host you.
i would be happy, if you could help

It is part of the benefit of being part of the Solid Rock Army fan club, so it’s not possible to get in, unless you purchased membership. I don’t know what the current status is of SRA though - whether one can still become a member.

Perhaps during your planned celebration of Larrys life and music you might give some time to pray for Larrys abandoned son Daniel. Daniel is 19 and lives in Melbourne .. he seeks to be acknowledged for who he is, Larry son .. He struggles to understand why his father, such a prominent Christan would have so little to do with him. The following links tells the story. Daniels youtube video is first -:

Similarly a man can no more diminish the bright light of the love of Jesus that shines through Larry’s life and music by scribbling lists of his alleged sins all over the Internet
Andrew, I think I can say fairly confidently that most fans are already praying that Daniel will come to know his Heavenly Father in such a real way that he will be able to forgive his parents, move on and find his true sense of identity (as do all believers) in being a forgiven, redeemed and highly valued child of God.
